Tuition Assistance for Fall 2026

Applications are being accepted through Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Dear Colleagues,

Applications for the Fall 2026 Tuition Assistance Program are now being accepted. Eligible classified, hourly, Teaching and Research, and Administrative and Professional Faculty employees may apply for themselves or an eligible dependent/spouse.

Application deadline: Monday, August 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, employees must meet the following requirements:

• Service requirement: Full-time employees must have completed one year of continuous full-time service with ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ by August 3, 2026.
• Part-time and hourly employees must have worked a total of 2,080 continuous hours by August 3, 2026. Adjunct teaching service does not count toward service eligibility.
• The employee, dependent, or spouse should be degree seeking and registered for the course(s) indicated on the application.
All Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ programs are eligible, with the exception of the M.D. program.

Total Credit Hours Available

Eligible employees and eligible dependents/spouses may apply for up to six (6) credit hours total for Fall 2026, which can be applied fully to the 16-week full term or divided across the 8-week terms.

Employee Classes Not Eligible

The following employee classes are not eligible for Tuition Assistance:

• Teaching/Research and Administrative/Professional Faculty on restricted appointments, including residents, fellows, and similar appointments
• Student employees, graduate assistants, and work-study participants
• Temporary or emergency hires
• Adjunct faculty
